Quinn Scharber and the …’s is playing a show with Hallelujah the Hills at Mad Planet. We just might be opening. Keep an eye out. 

…was a ton of fun.  Thanks to Navelgazer for making that happen.  Looks like their CD release was a success and Absolutely put on a real good show as well.

As you should know, we’re playing Linneman’s on 9/11.  After that however, it’s shaky.  Could get into a lot of boring details, but the bottom line is that we have to put a stop to things.  In the end, it’s probably best that we disappear as quickly as we appeared.  However, we’re going to take that and make the last show a fun one.  Some old friends are going to come back and perform a few songs.  There should be a bunch of changes, new/different songs, etc.  So if you’re going to come to any show, make it this one, since it’s the last one.

If any of us resurface in other bands, it should get posted on here.

Don’t forget – we’re playing at the Monkey Bar on Wednesday 8/12.  Show will start at 9PM and we’re planning to play first, so don’t be late!  Also featuring Saint Solitude and Navelgazer.

Thanks to the fine folks at WMSE, we were able to take down all the old recordings we had online and replace them with the live tracks from our radio show on 7/21.  Are they perfect?  Nah.  Do they give a much better representation of how we sound?  Yes!  Dig it – they are on this and all our other sites.

Also, there has been talk of an EP/single/album coming out.  Here’s the deal… we got Pro Tools tracks of our WMSE show and we’re tearing those down to make an EP.  Thankfully, the drums are virtually perfect (Nick rocks) as that’s the one part we definitely can’t record on our own.  So we’re working on overdubs for guitar/bass/vocals and doing mixing/mastering.  We’ll get everything sounding perfect and throw together some neat artwork and that will be our EP.  Should be done in a couple weeks or less.  If all continues going well, we will head to a studio in the fall/winter and put out an album.  Need time to hopefully gain some popularity and write more songs before we take on that endevor.  Anyway, look for the EP soon, it should sound great.

Like 99.5% certain we are playing the Up & Under on Thursday August 27th.  Look for more details soon.  Kind of a make-up date for another night that fell through so everything is not so lucid at the moment.  Yeah, this really isn’t really a useful post…

Mega thanks to Chris, Billy, Dave, Ryan, Erin and basically everyone at WMSE for hosting us, making our band sound really awesome and for being all and all super people.  We all had a really gerd time and it was a really interesting experience.  Hope anyone out there who caught the show enjoyed it.

For our third show, we expect to keep improving our performances and make this far and away the best we’ve played yet. Very excited to play at Frank’s, which is a super cool bar. The other bands should be very good as well.
